Do you recommend we book accommodations for the day after our procedure in case there are any complications with my procedure resulting in it taking longer than one day to complete?

Before you book any accommodation, it is recommended that you inquire with the surgeon performing the procedure. However it is generally only one day that is needed for treatment.

How long does it normally take to complete a Dental Implant?

Whether it’s a single tooth or even all your teeth, we can remove your old teeth, insert the implants and add the temporary crowns (if needed) – all in the same day!

How long does a complete Dental Implant treatment take from start to finish?

The total treatment time will be around six months for the lower jaw and nine months for the upper jaw. If bone graft procedures are required to increase your bone volume prior to implants, additional time may be necessary.

What is the cost for your Dental Implants?

Our price is US $ 800 per implant, which is a very competitively priced option for our patients. The total cost for implants will vary based on the unique needs of each patient. Your treatment coordinator will discuss the cost of your individual dental treatment plan. Generally speaking, the treatment cost for most implants is comparable to other restorations involving fixed bridgework. Dental insurance does not usually cover the cost  for implants unless an accident is involved. But as is the case with other medical expenses, your cost of treatment is tax deductible. The deduction may be a % of the treatment cost.

Does this price include all services associated with a Dental Implant?

Our price includes all the services associated with the regular surgical component only. If you need a prosthetic or bone grafting procedure in order to ensure the success of your Dental Implants, you will have to pay extra for these services. Important points when considering the cost of dental implants and comparing quotes:

  • Longevity offered by Dental Implants are not always afforded by other dental treatment options. Dental Implants are made of titanium, which integrates with the jaw bone, strengthening it and stimulating bone growth.
  • Dental Implants can be seen as a long-term investment not only in terms of money, but also in terms of quality of life. Dental Implants are like having natural teeth.
  • Other factors that influence cost; dental office visits, tooth extraction, bone grafting, placement of the implant (titanium root), placement of the crown, X-Rays and operative care.

Do I have to go anywhere else to complete by Dental Implants?

We do Dental Implants from start to finish in our clinic. You don’t have to go anywhere else for your Dental Implant surgery if you come to us!

What makes Dental Implants the treatment of choice?

Dental Implants feel more natural and secure than traditional removable denture plates, especially if these are loose-fitting due to extensive bone loss. Dental Implants can also provide support to a full denture, making them secure and enabling you to eat and speak more normally. If several adjacent teeth are missing, a fixed bridge may be attached to Dental Implants as an alternative to a removable partial denture plate. Implants allow replacement of missing teeth without having to change or modify adjacent teeth.

Am I a candidate for a Dental Implant?

Low cost Dental Implants are appropriate for almost anyone who is missing teeth or at risk of losing teeth. Occasionally, older patients express concerns that their age may prevent them from enjoying the benefits of Dental Implants. However, health is more of a determining factor than age. If you’re healthy enough to have a tooth extracted, you’re probably healthy enough to receive Dental Implants. There are very few medical reasons why you may not be a candidate to receive a Dental Implant. Your dentist will discuss these with you if necessary. The major limiting factor in determining whether you can have an implant to replace a missing tooth is whether there is sufficient bone remaining to accept the implant. This can be determined with an x-ray and a thorough examination of your oral tissues and supporting jawbone.

How painful is a Dental Implant procedure?

Dental Implant procedures are similar to having a tooth removed. Most patients can go back to work or school the next day after having Dental Implant surgery.

How long will my Dental Implants last?

Research and documented scientific studies have proven the effectiveness and long lasting capability of implants once they have been integrated into the bone of your jaw. However, each patient is different and it is impossible to predict the lifespan of Dental Implants with any certainty.According to the American Dental Association, the average lifespan of Dental Implants is 25 years, and Dental Implants that are properly placed and cared for can last a lifetime.

Implants usually last a long time. When patients are missing all of their teeth, long-term studies (more than 30 years) show an 80 to 90 percent success rate. For patients missing one or several teeth, recent studies show a success rate of greater than 95 percent, which compares favorably with other areas in the body that receive implant replacement (such as hips or knees). However, if one of your dental implants either doesn’t heal properly or loosens after a period of time, you may need to have it removed. After the site heals (or on occasion at the time of removal), another implant usually can be placed.

How successful is Dental Implant surgery?

Scientific documentation has shown that implants have a success rate of greater than 90%. Factors thought to affect the longevity of implants are your overall health, nutrition, oral hygiene, commitment to regular dental visits or professional maintenance and whether you use tobacco. Other factors are your anatomy and the design and construction of the restoration placed on the implants to restore the dental function.
